Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arda Kucukguven
Dr. Arda Kucukguven is a European Board-Certified plastic surgeon, fully registered with the General Medical Council (no. 7981898), specializing in facial aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Kucukguven has worked as a plastic surgeon at the famous cranio-maxillo-facial centre at Hacettepe University Hospital in Ankara, Turkey for 6 years. During his time here, his specialist interests included research into facial anatomy, facial rejuvenation surgery, cranio-maxillo-facial surgery, and complex facial reconstruction. Due to his extensive academic contributions, Dr. Kucukguven has achieved the esteemed position of Clinical Associate Professor, reflecting his commitment to both clinical practice and advancing the field through academic excellence on an international level. In 2012, he also worked at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, as a researcher in Boston, USA.
In the U.K. he has held plastic surgery posts at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and The London Clinic.
Dr Kucukguven has completed two highly-esteemed fellowships in London:
- Fellowship of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe
- Fellowship of the ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery)
His special interests include rhinoplasty and combined facial procedures including deep plane facelift, deep plane neck lift, gliding brow lift, jaw surgery, facial implants, eyelid surgery, midface lift, fat injection, lip lift, prominent ear correction, facial injections and buccal fat removal.
Dr Kucukguven has published over 20 peer reviewed articles, 15 book chapters and 2 books about plastic surgery and his innovative rhinoplasty and facial anti-ageing techniques. His vast surgical experience and research-based holistic approach to the face has led to him being viewed as one of the exciting key opinion leaders in the field of modern facial aesthetic surgery.
